  • Question Jam is designed to work best with 4-50 players.

  • Each Question Jam session is 7 minutes from start to finish.

  • You pick a topic that is important to discuss. The only rule is that it cannot be a question.

  • When the Jam concludes after 7 mins, all questions and answers are displayed on the main screen in an interactive wordcloud.

    From the main screen, the Jam leader can download all questions and answers in an excel file.

    When the Jam ends, players can also request to receive a copy of the Question Jam data by email.

  • The benefits of using Question Jam in your teaching is that students:

    • Tune in on the session purpose.

    • Activate their curiosity and critical thinking

    • Get a deeper understanding of the subject

    • Are energized by a playful activity

  • You need one main screen that everyone can see, and each player needs to have access to a digital device with internet. This can be a phone, tablet, or a computer.

    You can run Question Jams both as part of virtual and in-person teaching sessions.

  • Yes. In the 7 mins that a Question Jam lasts, each player can ask as many questions as they want.

  • Players are greyed out and marked as “busy” when they have received a lot of questions. This helps prevent bottlenecks and balances the game.

  • In Question Jam the questioner is always anonymous.

    The person answering is known only to the person asking. This is unavoidable because the questioner picks a specific person to answer their question.

    The Question Jam data contains only the questions and answers from the jam. No player names.

  • English and Danish.

    Please note that if you Jam in other languages than the one selected at the start, the word cloud output at the end will look odd.

  • Yes. Currently the product is in beta and it is free to use.

    In a Question Jam, players jam together with questions, and answers.
